Pink Floyd Kids

"Former schoolchildren who sang on Pink Floyd's 1979 single Another Brick in The Wall have begun action for unpaid royalties." acording to the BBC. Are those signs of a greedy and litigious society the great "americanism" that we really do not want... yes that was my innitial reaction. An over-reaction or a lack of deep thought, you may ask. I find this a bit troublesome issue because when you use some rational, then you will find arguments to support either side. I am becoming to be inclined to the view that these kids should be appropriatelly awarded. However, I do not think that it needs to go as far as the court room.

Firefox prepared to fight the Golliath!

How else to start my blog by talking of the most favourite things. For me there have been two of late. Well, I might not be telling the truth, but al least one of them has been "of late". First of them is "the Beeb" ehm... BBC news server and the second...? You guessed, Firefox. I hope it won't be too shameless just to get a few quotes: " New browser wins over net surfers" "It seems that people are switching from Microsoft's Internet Explorer to Mozilla's new Firefox browser," said Niels Brinkman ...
